First there was data mining and key-loggers or something like. ... That got patched out.
Then because of mixed reviews elsewhere, I decided to wait for a good sale price. I know Steam reviews of Days Gone are very high.
However I wonder with that, if we have to factor in people being glad Sony Playstation games on Steam.
Now Days Gone has dropped to a good price. Then I just recently I read about save issues. Folk losing progress or resource collection.
It's like this game is cursed.
Likely still gonna buy it though. Must be a sucker for punishment.
If someone buys a game on Steam, and has a problem with it (saves, performance issue, whatever) there's probably a 50% chance they're going to make a post about it not working, especially if they can't figure out how to fix it.
If someone buys a game on Steam, and has zero issues with it, there's probably a <1% chance they're going to make a post about it working fine.
I believe most situations that aren't widespread or acknowledged by the devs are most likely individual issues, not with the game, but with someone's specific PC. Just because games W,X, and Y work with an abnormal set-up or configuration, that doesn't mean game Z is going to work.
