Won't pass the horde

Hi,
Very disapointing game after some enjoyable moments.
Had the quest to eliminate a horde with napalm. A total mess mission, can't pass it.
And i see that there are a lot of players who just stay stucked here, like me :\

If you some tips, i'll try again, but i really think it will go in my trash category...

You can get attracting items then throw bombs or napalm at horde while standing high up like on a train, that's a fairly easy way.

There's even attracting bombs too that do it all in one, maybe quit this mission for a while and do side missions for a while to build up items and better guns, etc.

Helps a lot to be prepared before accepting mission so you can quickly get on with it and don't have to craft of pick up a tone of stuff each attempt.

Attraction items, bombs and molotovs, and kite kite kite. You can keep retreating and pulling small chunks of the horde. The MG45 and Auto Shotgun are perfect for hordes (until you get the MG55). Park the bike away with full refills on it and get moving

How's your stamina? I recommend raising that up as much as possible by way of nero research sites on your map first and then add on the advice other posters said too

And don't forget : trash cans are your best friend in the fight against hordes :-)

So you are willing to trash a game cause of 1 mission? Ok hordes are hard and I kinda hated it too but they get easier. First horde I knew nothing about the skill that lets you carry 6 napalm and 6 Molatov!! I finished it with 2 napalm (and making on the fly) 3 Molatov. Wish i new then :)

I struggled a lot too until I realized how easy it is to solve this mission:

At the beginning the horde is moving away from you. Let them.

The nearest compound in front of you (if you look at the direction of the horde) contains a yellow school bus.
You can climb up that bus and on top of the roof.

Wait until the horde stays static (around a dead-corpse-field where they start feeding).

Then just start shooting at a couple of them. They will run towards you, but only in groups of 5-15. You can easily pick them up with guns.
Repeat this until you literally killed the whole horde.
Took me around 10 minutes.
If you run out of ammo, resupply at your bike behind you (park it near the yellow bus before starting).

Is that the one where you start out with someone on a small cliff? The Chemult horde i think?

I had a little trouble with it, but eventually i found just rushing in only a handful of zombies will come at you at first which makes it more manageable since theyre not all together. If you start out setting traps and surveying the area the smaller hordes will all start gravitating towards each other and essentially create a much larger, more difficult horde.

There's also a building with a neon sign i remember that you can hide in and the zombies cant hurt you. Just go upstairs and on the awning, set off the car alarm, wait for them to gather towards you and blow em away. However if youve already entered the building before at any point it'll be blocked off from the rubble that falls down.

If you scout around, I think there are some REALLY good choke points. Also look for the red explosive barrels and the propane tanks across the street (between where you start and the horde). You can get a ton of them exploding the tanks and barrels.

Thanks for the many replies, i finally managed the horde and finished the game. Not a bad game for me, just the hordes is more work than fun.

whats so hard about it? use the napalm and thats it.

You're probably underlevel'd, wrong weapons for horde, you used no utilties etc. also there are TONS of explosives but seems like you dont use them too.

You say this game is trash cuz u're bad? Thats childish.

I passed this today. Definitely tricky. I def didn't do it optimally. I had the bike ready for a quick escape if you look to be overwhelmed. Hide then have another go when they are calmer
