Deacon worst voice actor ever.

Why are all his voice lines so trash? Every one is rushed with no pauses between lines with bad emotion. Did they give him a time limit on every line to reduce file size?

But all the cutscenes are natural and good. It's like he's good at acting with other people on set for the motion capture.. but when he's placed in the studio in front of a microphone he's a nervous wreck.

I'm a few hours in and he always sounds to me like hes got indigestion. Like he's eaten a big meal and it just isn't sitting right haha

yeah, when it's not a cut scene, the voice acting takes a bit of a dip. He seems like an actual schizo when he's clearing an area of freaks and at some points on par with the rippers.

Overall, I don't think it's that bad but I'll admit that when he starts yelling after each of Copeland's Radio Free Oregon broadcasts he sounds pretty crazy.

Dude never showers either and is so afraid of water he can't even swim. Be his earthly smell gives him a raspy throat, not to mention the tooth decay.

The only thing that bothers me is his ambient dialogue for stealth kills is sometimes the same for regular combat, im sneaking around, knifing some bandits in the bushes and he goes "YEAH! YOU LIKE THAT! TAKE A SHOT AT ME!?!"

I liked the voice actor overall, but yeah, this stuff made me laugh.

I'm fine with the voice acting. Sure he yells alot, but I think thats to take account of immersion when riding the bike. Of course you'd need to be loud to be heard. Plus the quips of him yelling at people shooting at him make me laugh.

I completely agree with you, I like the game but Deacon's character has one of the worst voice acting in the history of video games. The fanboys will obviously tell you otherwise. I think the actor who did Sarah's voice did a much much much better job.
