Fix for the stuttering (Nvidia only)

Enable ultra low latency mode on the Nvidia control panel, you may want to create a separate profile for the game.

This will heavily reduce the amount of frame time spikes (Known as stutter) and actually lower the input lag too. Check out this comparison video here and look how smooth the frame times on the right side are

I've never experienced the stutter problem. Although I've heard numerous others complain about it. Many have suggested this mod as a stutter fix; https://www.nexusmods.com/daysgone/mods/84

I dont have any stutters...1440p all cranked up...100+fps all time. Game is very optimized for a console Port. Probably the best Port I ever played.

Thank you so much! I just bought this game on the summer sale and it was stuttering quite heavily, after downloading the aforementioned mod it is running as smooth as butter!

Unfortunately this didn't work for me. Survival mode is pretty much unplayable once the zombie count racks up. I've tried this, I've tried Vulkan, I've tried changing my soundcard's frequency to 44100hz, I've tried some 3rd party tools...all to no avail. Maybe AMD 2700x is just the worst thing possible. I know for sure my 3070 isn't to blame.

Lock the fps in riva tuner to whatever the monitor refresh rate ( ex 60 hz monitor 60 in riva..)

Same here, 3080 and 34" ultra wide which I may add DG is superb on.

Мне помогло в Защитнике Windows отключение изоляции ядра и в свойствах Days Gone.exe поставить совместимость с Windows 8, ну и поставить галочки "Отключать оптимизацию во весь экран" и "Запустить эту программу от имени администратора"
Теперь игра идёт в 60 fps на высоких настройках.
На максимальных бывают просадки до 50 fps.

16 gb DDR3
1650 super 4 gb
SSD от Samsung на 500
