Are Survival 2 and Hard 2 the same difficulty?
I've heard the enemie's damage output and health doesn't vary, just the hud and fast travel, is that true?

YES, but if you care about game achievements, you still need to play NG+ survival mode.

The Survival 2 minimap also disappears, which can be quite a pain for those who get lost easily.

I'll play survival 1 which also counts towards the achievement. Thank you

1. Complete the game with Survival.
2. Complete the game with Hard 2 or Survival 2 in >>New Game+<<.
3. Kill the zombie horde within 1 minute in survival mode.
