God of War collection on PC?

Honestly I don't care about the new formula (God of War 2018). I would be fine with the old games, the trilogy and the other three. Those games don't or barely make any money for Sony anymore so why not bring them to PC? It would make sense from a business point of view.

god of war 1 and 2 aren't even playable on the ps4 without using ps now i believe? we have only been getting ports of ps4 game so far so a god of war collection seems unlikely until this changes. god of war 2018 seems more likely and from my understanding it's a soft reboot so no need to play the old games.

god of war 2018 would also be a better advertisement for the ps5 god of war.

I personally have no interest in God of War 2018. There is a port of God of War 2 on the PS5, not sure about the first, and it looks good. Would love to have them on PC.

God of war will never be released on pc. This is one of Sony's best franchises and they will leave God of war only to PlayStation.

if they ported GoW 1 and 2 over to ps5 the likely hood seems a little higher to me. still think the first game will be the GoW 2018 and not the original trilogy/spin offs. I get it the gameplay is different from the original and 2018 do to them wanting to modernize the series. maybe if GoW Ascension had better reputation they would have kept the old formula. I personally liked Ascension not a bad game but not as good as 2 and 3.

I hope they will bring a collection first. Those game aren't making any money for Sony anymore so it would be a very smart move. It's also stupid as hell that they didn't named the new one God of War 4. (not that I care)

Some Sony games will come to PC, but don't expect games like God of War, Uncharted, The Last of Us. Sony decided to keep these games on the Playstation. Perhaps Dreams, Bloodbourne, Ghost of Tsushina, Ratchet and Clank (2016) will come to PC after Days Gone.

I think these ports serve two purposes #1 a second revenue stream. #2 advertisement for the ps5 sony hoping X amount of people will go pick up a ps5 because they want to play the sequel and they don't fill like waiting a few years.

only a small amount of playsation profits comes from selling exclusive the real money comes from selling 3rd party software as sony gets to keep 30%.

i'm sure god of war collection would sell well on steam just less secondary benefits to sony.

Even if Sony released the old parts of the God of War, they would sell very poorly on the PC and Sony understands this, so Sony decided to leave the God of War only to PlayStation.

They will make money on other games by porting them to PCs, such as Dreams, Bloodbourne, Ghost of Tsushima, but Sony will leave their best and longest streak only to Playstation.
