It sounds like you're less than half way through.
There's two entirely different areas as you progress (lost lake and crater lake) and each has a story arc.
Exactly. I did that mission pretty early into my playthrough so I must have unlocked a lot more missions than Nats has.
I am enjoying it but yeah the missions are coming one after the other and only have one mission at a time to do it seems. That's ok it does encourage you to explore the map a bit to try to find more camps. But its a bit linear for an open world game. I feel this game could do with you having at least 3 or 4 side missions to do at any one time rather than just the one main storyline. It's progressing quite slowly.
Nothing like Dying Light or Cyberpunk though lol where you have one or two main story missions and loads of side missions to do at any one time.
I mean I don't tend to rush my games and it even feels a little slow to me lol.
