Sarah Whitaker - Story SPOILER

What do you say on Sarah?
We spend half the game looking for her. We spend dozens minutes in memories watching how they were in love - and she genuinely looks that she loved Deacon.
And when we found her - nothing? No talking? How you been? How did you survive? No "I am happy that you are alive"? She sends him on missions, risking his life - of course in this world he risks his life always, but she deliberately risking his life like he is nothing more than a soldier to her. Loving wife would suggest "stay on guard duty".
She doesn´t even kiss him. I know it was more than 2 years, but love doesn´t just disappear if there was some. And by story he spends days there in camp and she didn´t find time to talk to him, to be with him?
It would be great if we have opportunity to find another love, instead of this cold heart workaholic.

Edit regarding some points:
She wasn´t guarded there. Later in the story she was locked up, but before she was free and was on a two supply runs with Deacon. Even though they were alone, she show no affection towards him (Lisa was hurt and mutilated and she hug him), no interest to explain why she act like ice queen.
She ask him "why are you even here" when he grumble about her requests. After they sleep together, he opens his heart, told her that everything he done was to be with her and she respond "why are you still here" meaning if he don´t believe in saving world. He say to be with her and nothing. She acted like she doesn´t swear before God that she will spend her life with him, but as if they just met. Even the sex scene wasn´t romantic. Just like 2 people who are familiar and lonely in end of the world spending cold night in mountain. Not like husband find his wife.
And at the end she was willing to leave with him only to continue her research. Not to be with him.
Only worse wife from game is probably just Aya, Bayek´s wife from origin (meaning like bad wife, not wife turned to be villain).

Story wise.. Rikki did love deacon and was prepared to be with with, however... he denied her that Love because of Sarah, they should of given a choice to stay with rikki or sarah not just FORCE the character to stay with one...

But then again days gone was a demo for the PS4 to test its engine, so u can't really expect much LOL

Yes, he did everything for her. And that egoist can´t spend 5 minutes in honest dialogue with him? She don´t work 24 hous per day. She eats, rests, so found 5 minutes for him would be really nothing.

And in one scene where he again grumble she ask him "Why are you even here?" Really? This is question for your husband who fought whole world just to found you? Other people care more about Deacon then this "wife".

I would love to have option where I will find will found other way to destroy freakers, found love - maybe with Rikki - and take control of some big camp united some clans and start a family. And show Sarah that she could have it all but she will have nothing.

Side quest were really repeating, if there will be some watch towers I would say it was made by Ubisoft :) But main story was pretty decent, just this was big bump on the road. I was hope in every mission that he will found out what she really is and that his "fake memories" on her will break and he will leave her.

I really hated that.... bruh u only ask me once, "why are you still here.." i'd be gone, out the door.. bye felicia have fun with ur crazy ass colonel.

I would of loved to stay with rikki, she does care for deacon and wants to be with him.... but due to his rejects she goes lesbian and starts to date abby, you can see that in the last few missions, she doesn't wanna give up deacon's love for him, but she renounces it and stay with addy.

She is mirroring Deacons own reaction when he found out that there is a chance that she is alive: Complete and utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disbelief.
You know, the person you thought was dead for 2 years just showing up, after you tried your best to get over him? Can be a little overwhelming. Can be a little hard to sort out what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on, inside and outside.

What you saw in this scene was a complete mismatch of expectations. He expected to find his wife again, she did not expect anything and was completely overwhelmed.

Jesus guys.. they were in military camp and they couldnt exactly just talk. Imagine yourself in her skin. You thought you lost Deacon two years ago. You thought he was dead. You couldnt believe it was him. You were in shock. Militia had her guarded and everything to make sure she doesnt run off if she wanted to. Not seeing your loved one for two years after thinking he is dead takes time "to heal" knowing he is there again.

In the end everything was great. Sarah and Deacon against the world full of freaks.

Yes a game that can last over 40 hours is just lazy writing. Some people are just full of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.. you sure are one of em.

Well thats is just your opinion, but having opinion doesnt mean its fact. I was pissed myself that she was doing this, but i dont blame her. Nor should you.

We talking about love, about relationship between man and woman - there are no facts, only opinions and how we felt it :)

Yes, I blame her. If I was Deacon, I would leave her. I don´t say I wouldn´t be heartbroken - of course I will be. I have hoped, lost hope and then hope again, do everything what I could to find her. But I am also a person of my own. I don´t blame her for first shock of seeing me. But for days not to care what happened to me, where I was, or sending me risking my neck to find her ingredients when she have full army at her disposal? No, that is not women I fell in love; this is not women that doesn´t care what her parents, employees, or surrounding thinks about dating a biker; this is not women that what willing to risk everything for me because she love me.

Yeh, I'm with you Epero, Sarah's character was probably the worst in the game.
Have to say that quite a lot of the story line was bad. When Deek takes Sarah back to her old workplace, they should've stayed there! It's the best camp base in game and is full of all the sort of gear she needs to do proper work. Nobody in their right mind would've walked away from such a stronghold in a world full of Freakers! Also, given the usually varied npc dialogues in this game, why can't you interact with either Sarah or Boozer after the final battle? When you go "home" it's almost like Sarah, Boozer and the dog are a family. There were several bad decisions made in the story. I hope that if there is a sequel, they get some better story writers in.

Guys the raw amount of emotion after thinking your partner is dead for 2 years and then finding out they're alive is extreme

In all that time they felt extreme amounts of pain, endless thoughts, probably got close to banging a couple people so extra strong guilt, just nights of cursing the other one for "leaving"

Just like deacon burning the church (had a little tear there not gonna lie), they probably both had given up and started trying to live without and then BAM.. he's alive.. IMHO sarah and kouri banged for a while, that's how he got her ring, and then stopped because it was a dumb thing for both, just emptiness

So stop thinking sarah is cold and a ♥♥♥♥♥, she's as confused and cold as deacon and they're kind of meeting each other again for a while
