Mediocre game?

I was really hyped for this game since I love zombies and apocalypse like scenarios, but after playing the game, I have a sense I've seen it all. Game is in my opinion very mediocre, not a lot to collect, story is full of cliches and open world isn't that great, also bike customization is bare bones. Also combat is simply awfull.

This game reminds me of Mad Max which was mediocre aswell, but I'd say Days Gone is better because it has a better combat (not great overall).

I rented this game on the ps4 back when redbox was still doing video games and felt the same way. I enjoyed it - but thought some of the cut-scenes were hammy and felt like it wasn't living up to what I thought it was going to be. I never finished it, but played it for a solid amount of time.

Indeed, sad it didn't live to our expectations.

I never truly knew what this game was about but I got hyped and purchased the game. So far so good, love the story driven gameplay. Hope it does not take forever though because as said before here you really see everything game has to offer gameplay wise in first hours.

Anyway, I also liked Horizon Zero Dawn. So, waiting for Uncharted and TLOU2.

I think Uncharted franchise would be a dream come true, especially TLOU 1.
