There's no keylogger, the game doesn't even gather any data on you, they use telemetry data to troubleshoot the game, nothing more.

Everyone creating a thread about this doesn't have the game. However, they came on to the community board for it to troll or simply make themselves feel better because they are too poor to buy it.

I started getting clown porn ads in my email after playing this game. They're definitely spying on me.

Their TOS indicates that they track off-game data including information on websites you visit and audio / video data. The TOS does not mention a keylogger, but given the scope of their data collection listed, even for the "limited" option, I don't think if there was such a keylogger it'd violate their TOS.

Could you possibly copy/paste the TOS extract mentionning so ?

OP if you are worried about data collection in a game. Then you should just Toss your Smartphone out a window and stop using anything that connects to the internet in general. Everything in some form collects some form of data off its users today. Its marketing 101- If you are so paranoid about them collecting info on you the real question comes to mind of why do you feel so insecure. What are you doing illegal that you are worried they collect your data to market to you. 99% of people who are worried about this are cause they be looking at certain pornographic imagery that they should not be. An if you are anyway they are already watching you.
Eh, i just simply block the 2 recommended files in outgoing firewall and also delete that CRS uploader file.

Their TOS is based on PS4, they refer to tracking how you socialize in online games, days gone is not an online game, their tracking browser data part is most likely from PS4 as well meaning the browser on PS4, which you don't have on Windows. I'd not bet on that, hence why I've blocked the game in my firewall as soon as it popped up anyway since it's a single player game, but I'd imagine it's a case of sloppy copy paste of privacy agreement from the console.

Sure, here's what the Limited option says:

Config Data-Information about your device's config, such as manufacturer, model, number of processors, display size and resolution, date, region, language, locale and capabilities.
Connected Hardware Data- Info about hardware connected to your device, such as game controllers and other peripherals.
Error Data-If an error occurs, the error code and basic data about when and where it occurred (an error could indicate a problem that needs fixing).
Load time Data-Basic information about how long it takes to download and upload data to your device(a long time may indicate a problem).
Security Data-Info necessary to detect and investigate malicious, unauthorized or fraudulent activity.
Legal Data- Info required by applicable law and to demonstrate compliance.

I, for one, owned the game, then refunded after the TOS. I don't think labelling these very valid concerns as "trolls" is either realistic or helpful.

Well you need to give up Steam too, you would be surprised what their ToS say.
