You have already been told in other messages that this is conceived, manual saves do not work in missions, only before missions like autosave or after missions or in the open world of a motorcycle, this seems to be done for great hardcore, in very large missions there are checkpoints. I believe that this is true, if it was possible to save in missions at any time, it would be casual and not interesting. Yes, it is difficult, but if you carefully go through the missions, then you can go through, especially since the choice of difficulty levels is complete. So stop asking for it to change.
P.S. This is not a bug, I will repeat it as intended, it was the same on playstation 4.
They are the most annoying part. Especially if they are putting you back right before triggering a long cutscene which you can't even skip.
We wrote this already not a bug, it was so conceived, it was also on the console, as you were tired of your casualness, in missions manual saving does not work specifically for hardcore, you can google on the Internet and look at old articles about the game on the console, there is also no special saving manuals inside missions, only in the open world, and before and after missions, inside missions there are only checkpoints sometimes.
are there more than one user-id folders? it would be named with random numbers
if there are more than 1 then that could be the issue
so autosave checkpoints should be sometimes, but manual ones do not work here on purpose.
@Amartish I dont quite get what you mean, is the game coded to not allow manual saves on Normal difficulty?
I tested the save system at the tower where your buddy has the burnt arm. I equipped the special crossbow, saved manually. Then reloaded that manual save and it loaded at the cutscene and without the special crossbow in my inventory. As well it created two new Autosaves. Clearly bugged. I took a screenshot...standby

I saved it manually at 5:55:15 PM. But it wont load there, only at checkpoints. But as I said before it didnt save the checkpoint at the next village where the bike was.
idk what else it could be
If you're only at the start of the game and don't yet have the bike then... it's back to the start of each cut scene for you!
