Lower sound quality
There are several different causes of stuttering. The obvious ones, like graphics settings to high, there are less obvious ones, like sound quality interference.
Here is a pretty good troubleshooting guide. It'll help you through reducing your sound quality settings, which might be the cause of the stuttering you are suffering.

change sound quality to 16 Bit, 44100 Hz.

I think it's wishful thinking tbh, all in your mind.
Doubling your RAM should reduce stutter to zero, if it's going to do anything at all for stutter.
