Game crashes during cutscene (Spoilers)

Anyone else having issues with the game freezes up on a black screen during a cutscene after the second helicopter encounter? No matter what I do I cant seem to find a way around it.

I do, i have the same issue like you and clue how to fix.

Updated my gpu driver and even made sure windows is all up to date. Fiddled with gpu and cpu power as well. No matter what I try i cant get through the cutscene. It'll start up and then fade into another but then it'll just freeze up on black and I have to open up task manager to shut the game down.

same issue here reloading save after pc restart doesn't work either going to try with a new save see if that works

I'm hoping we don't have to start a new save to fix the issue. But at the same time, we can't progress in the story or the world map without completing the mission (which we can't do due to the crashing during the cutscene.) Guess I'll just play some challenges until the devs comment on this issue and whether it is fixable via patch or via new game.

Nvidia Driver up to date
Windows 10 up to date

until this Cutscene everything worked fine, no crashes, freezes, whatsoever. But this is even with restartet PC, no third Party tools, no programs running in background not playable any further, awaiting fix for it....

Did anyone test with the previous Nvidia driver? Without Days Gone optimized?

I played without updating my driver and had zero issue up to that point. My driver is now up to date, and I still have the same problem.

Same here. There are multiple posts here reporting the same issue. I also posted this on reddit's Days Gone bugs page.
