One Percenter achievement requirements?
Just wondering if it literally means you have to get all the other Steam achievements. Because on the PS4, you only need to complete the original base game trophies. The challenge mode with the tough trophies was added later as a free title update, and those aren't needed to get the One Percenter trophy.

I don't see me ever getting gold in all the challenges to get a true 100% but I did get the platinum on PS4.

Lol, it says in the description so yes. Obtain all trophies. So whatever achievement is in steam version has to be unlocked. I think. :steammocking:

The PS4 trophy description is the same: "Go above and BEYOND, unlocking every trophy in Days Gone" but it doesn't mean it.

So the bar is higher for this on Steam than it is on PS4?

I'm wondering if anyone knows this or is just assuming.

I would assume that if one percenter unlocked for the base game achievements those parameters of having to unlock it here on steam has not changed.

It's a lot of work to replay through on different difficulties so I don't want to do it again if there's no One Percenter achievement as a reward.

How do you know? Did you do it?

The only people who know are the developers and the people who have already got this achievement. Anyone else is just guessing. No you can't assume the achievement description can be taken literally, because on PS4 it is wrong.

Yeah I didn't find the challenges to be hard at all really, and when it came to my 2nd playthrough for newgame+ on survival difficulty etc. I just rushed through the main story and ignored everything else

Shame. I predict few will get it legitimately then.

On PS4 the hardest trophy is Gold Team Rules which has been achieved by 0.1%. On PS4 you don't need it to get One Percenter but on Steam you do? One Percenter is already double that at 0.2% just a week after the game's release. If it goes much higher than that it means either PC gamers are very elite or there is cheating going on. Does it matter? No I guess not, but it's sad.

You can start off in new game plus and then just do the hardest difficulty and then it's just doing everything else from there.

Just focus on the achievement stuff. You don't actually have to 100 percent the game to get all achievements. There are some side stuff you can skip like the hoards and the challenges are super easy I only had a problem with one if them with was a race one where you had to go through checkpoints and go off a certain number of jumps and stuff at the same time which made it tricky.

Oh yeah, the other thing about the 0.1% achievement rate on PS4 for people who beat all the challenges on gold... that includes people who did it when the game mode was new and it was MUCH EASIER. Devs patched it to take out glitches and dramatically beef up the aggressiveness of the enemies.

The idea it is 'super easy' is ridiculous. Now, if someone is an elite gamer and THEY found it easy, okay, maybe that is possible. But for anyone to say that the game mode itself is objectively easy, that simply isn't true. The gold requirements are very tough and most people, even skilled gamers, will not be able to do them.
