Graphics vanish as you enter the cave. Been waiting for a month now, would be nice to finish the game. grr...

What is ur gpu? I was also getting weird lag in that area but my GPU is old stil the game was running fine in all other areas except this one area
Have the same problem at the same location. I cant finish this mission because every time when I enter the crater the graphic freeze an the game crashes to desktop. no graphic setting work, always the same problem. no way to finish the game :(

+1, same issues here.
No, it's not fixed. A bunch of geometry in the cave in the last mission isn't loading for me so I can't beat the game.

Quite the opposite happened to me. I've encountered countless bugs. Some funny, some got me straight up killed (like "drowning" -yes, drowning- at the entrance of Copeland's camp). But the final mission was a breeze. Finished it in one go, didn't find any geometry not loading (although I've had that problem in challenges).
I have experienced no bugs at all. Game hasn’t crashed. Zero texture issue in the last mission.
Skipping a cut scene will cause the game to fail and load the new terrain properly on some occasions, particularly if it requires the characters to move location. Mainly due to scenes being all in-engine based, this can lead to situations where skipping a scene causes a section to fail to load in time or at all. Not so much a "bug", its more akin to a processing stall where a process times out before it can finish. It can be a driver issue, CPU core specific, BIOS related, chipset type etc etc that can cause these issues. And one of the worst things about it is, on many occasions it gets stored (or "baked") in to your savefile meaning it wont load properly even on a restart.

Very very hard to track down without proper event logs, stack traces & lots of time and effort. My only advice is to make sure you run a "backup" save at critical points in a game, just to be sure you can go back and restart should things like this come up. Usually if you restart from before the bug even has a chance to trigger, and don't skip scenes it normally works correctly.
That bug is present in the original PS4 version too in the Shadow of Death mission where the cave's floor doens't load properly and theres nothing to do with your VGA, it a bug that happens in some cases. Seems like they never fixed it

This game was filled with those nasty failed-to-load-assets bugs at launch on PS4.

I just played the last few missions and yep still glitched. No cave textures and crashes after going through the tunnel north to mikes camp. Been butting my head since

Is this game really buggy one PC?? I loved it on PS4.

Its 100x better on PC but still have few issues unresolved

Yes i have ended it, just lower all graphics settings to low to get through cave section
I had no issues bug wise except for a few unloaded textures on parked cars here and there and the game breaking issue on the last mission this thread is about. I think I turned all the settings down and finished it the end. Don’t think I had the same Issue on the second play though.

It’s one of the reasons I waited a year having read others comments after the initial release.
I've played this game all the way through, start to finish, 100% on all in-game missions etc, on a well below spec requirements rig.

AMD FX 8300 cpu, on an ASRock 970M mo/bo, nvidia gtx 750ti graphics card, 16GB DDR3 ram and an old Philips 227E monitor factory locked to 60fps .

The ONLY problems I have had were occasional stuttering when on the bike and the graphics occasionally lagging when on the bike. Neither of these are surprising, given my rig, nor were they especially game spoilers, for me. I wasn't having to wait 5 minutes for anything, at most 2 or 3 seconds. I'm old though, I used to play games on computers which normally took 10 to 15 minutes to load and the graphics were totally rubbish once the game was playing.
However, I've had none of these missing floors, clay buildings and cars, nothing like this what-so-ever. Other than the slight lag and slight stuttering, the game has played perfectly all the way through.
What this suggests to me is; you've got your graphics set too high for your rig to keep up with the game play. It may well meet the recommended specs, but there's a major component that is being 'stretched' by the game and not keeping up. How to find what it is, is beyond my knowledge. I didn't even know what an M.2 drive was, until I started looking into the type of rig I'd need to play DG on :steammocking::steamhappy:
