I am modding my game but its not working

I am modding my game but the mods aren't working, I have a Paks file and everything what it tells me to do but none of the mods i download actually work or show up, like new guns, uniforms, clothing, etc

Did you read the read the read me all the way? the most important part is renaming startuppackages in the sfpaks. You could also rename the sfpaks folder to something else too but it would give worse performance. been modding the game sense it came out. here's one of my mods https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GBtZyENW_Y

can you give me a tutorial on how to allow mods, I got spakss folder named, and i got a paks folder thats it

You should have 2 folders for mods.

%LocalAppData%\BendGame\Saved\Paks

Inside days gone install directory. Rename the spaks folder to spakss.

Your mods should than work. If they still do not work its probably an outdated mod that doesnt work with July patch 1.05.
