Good thing I just use workshop outfits for appearance projections, but I still think level 20 would be a good point for projection to be available.
Ah well... Yeah it's way too grindy to get more options for Appearance Projection. They should've stuck with level 20 if you ask me, as the 20-30 gap requires like, probably way more experience then 1-20...
It is simply too much for a non-veteran player to catch up with.
Though when it comes to levelling pages for combat, it isn't THAT bad, they're reasonably useful from level 10-20 (whenever Speed unlocks) and you can do some easier fights with em for some XP.
It's just really sucky if you need to grind like well over FOURTY pages to level 30 to get a reasonable cosmetic Appearance Projection collection going.
Speed generally unlocks at about level 20 now I think, you could get away with doing both acts of Kurakumo or maybe Love Town though it might be fairly stressful with the latter, and deaths massively neuter your XP gains.
And i may have miscounted, but i noticed a total of roughly 71 unique pages you can accuire for Appearance Projection. Seriously, 71 pages, grinded to level 30... That would take friggin' forever.
There's also about 16 (2 per floor, and we've unlocked 8 out of 10 floors) assistant and patron librarian pages, if you throw that into the pile we've got a grand total of 87 pages.
Although right now the latest patch rendered all library pages unusable for Appearance Projection, even the assistant ones, and patron librarians currently cannot use their own default appearance when having a key page equipped. (Hopefully that gets fixed...)
I agree nothing is as frustrating the grind pages you are not using or planning to use just to get the apprentice project. I could get it if you had used the pages to level it at least that would be an achievement of sort still be annoying toughed. But using other pages to level page of, just for cosmetics feels of really off.
And even if you don't use the floor much, why wouldn't you want them to look fasionable? Got a whole thing going on for my floors, heh...
A professional "suits" theme for Kether, Gerbura's all "cyber ninja", tried finding the classiest blue things for Chesed's floor, a "regal" theme for Tipereth, the ol' "nerd squad" for Malkuth and Hod (Hod's adorable in Dalloc's getup+ribbon+glasses), a "street gang" kinda theme for Netzach, and a Hotline Miami-esque setup for Yesod (why not, he rocks the purple suit).
