Dante Passive

I tried getting Dante's passive seeing through weakness to activate but even with the fragile stack being 5 or higher and Dante having a pierce weakness the passive didn't do anything. Is the passive referring to the target having a weak resistances or is my game bugged from a mod issue?

Seeing through weakness' ability effect is only applied when the enemy you attacked has 5 or more Fragile and a 'Weak' resistance, not the character with the passive

best to do this while the enemy is staggered, since by the time you get Dante's book, most enemies have no weak or fatal resistance, unless you stagger them. even better with a certain page that doubles the applied debuffs on targets/guests.
