Personally, i DO rather like the current zoom, but thing is, it zooms in a LOT at times, specifically, when the rolls have been rolled and the units attack/get hit/deflect/etc then it zooms in way too deeply for a moment.
(And chances are, this "in and out" camera movement that occurs when units fight eachother after rolling dice may be the one that causes nausea in particular.)
I'd personally either choose the current zoomed-in system but without the zoom-in on combat animations, or have it do a very minimal "in and out" zoom during combat animations.
---
And i'd also wish that the card and roll UI's wouldn't overlap, with how much it is zooming in and how sometimes characters are directly above/below eachother, the UI overlaps and you can't see your rolls.
Limiting how close one unit's card UI is visually allowed to get to the other's should fix that.
Other than that I agree, I like the zoom on the current action between two characters, but it wouldn't be bad to give the option to choose how much zooming they want
But apparently, other people seem to dislike the new in/out zoom, as other discussions seem to suggest... Hopefully ProjectMoon will address this topic soon
The rest is pretty awesome, and the close-up of every (melee) encounter works nicely. Frankly, if they just took out the "in and out" zoom it would be perfect.
(Do hope they also look at the card/roll UI mid-battle and make sure that behaves a bit better, doesn't overlap with the other unit's roll UI, etc.)
