How to change the Language on a Mod

I literally have spent the past couple of months trying to figure this out by myself. I checked Reddit, the discord, youtube, and even through more then half of these forums, and yet I always come up empty handed. People talk about it like everyone already knows how to do it, So now I am asking for help here. How do you change the language on a mod? I know not all mods are compatible with English, but some are very obviously labeled for it, and yet I have no form of instructions on how to switch it to English.

I haven't modded in another language, personally, but if it is akin to just playing the game with mods, just make sure you launch the game correctly for that.

To play the game with mods, you have to go to the big green "PLAY" button in your library page -> click that -> a menu* should pop up asking you how you want to launch the game -> select "Play LoR with mods."

*If you do NOT get this menu, go to the properties of the game, and under "general" -> there should be "Launch Options" -> select "Ask when starting game."


Anyway, the game will launch and after a bit of loading, you'll get a list of mods where you can click to enable them.

The BaseMod that is the most popular mod is quite outdated.

Also, if you want achievements, grab the "achievement unblocker" mod.
Up to you if you want to grab some QoL mods (like Enhanced Viewer and NoGrind)

Did you check the list of mod requirements on the right? Many mods depend on Localization Manager for their localization needs (which is a separate mod that you must also enable). The language of a mod's localization is usually designed to automatically match your game's language setting.

I have Localization manager installed, but they still don't seem to be in English. I'm aware not all mods are viable or compatible with English, but I've checked mod folders and seen that they have English translations in them, but they just aren't used for some reason.
