Floor of Religion:
-Bring varied damage cards. The enemies will be immune to all but one damagetype, though fortunately the boss is susceptible to all types.
-Bring your best gear, especially Purple Tear who will be invaluable due to her stance-changing. (Her Identify Weakness card also helps a lot.)
-It's a long fight, if you got spare space it's not unreasonable to bring Health Hauler.
And just do your best. This is the easier of the two fights.
Floor of Philosophy:
-Bring your absolute best. And MOST DEFINITELY bring Nikolai, because that final phase is hell to do without.
-Build-wise: I had...
*Binah: The Strongest + Myo's Prowess and whatever else fits in (Dino's passive to gain 1 light at 25% chance is handy here).
*Librarians: Triple-R Suit, +1 power gain passives, and if desired Health Hauler helps too.
*Librarian Decks: Will of the Prescript, Multi-Slash, Energy Cycle, Energy Conversion, Graze the Grass and whatever else you wish to deck. Personally i tend to go for x3 3-costs, x3 2-costs and x3 0-cost regens. Though with Energy Conversion added in you'll then have to cut down on the total of 2-cost or 3-cost pages.
-It also helps to potentially bring Purple Tear's Identify Weakness card (can exploit final phase's weakness reliably), Yan's sword card that gets -2 power (will be useful during power-nullified moments), maybe a 2-cost R-corp Charge card. Maybe a Deep Drag card might come in handy too as +35% (on top of Nikolai's +50%) damage from Smoke can be a real killer.
And also make a Block Deck for Purple tear that has cards that start with two Block Dice, and some cards that start with a incredibly high single block dice (this can help vs the Punishing Bird phase a lot to safely avoid staggering yourself).
-Phase-wise, uh...
*DO NOT attack the Big Bird while power-nullifying is active. It nullifies it's own debuffs.
*You could in theory stagger Punishing Bird phase pretty easily once it's in punishing mode.
*If Judgement Bird is troublesome, you could consider just bum-rushing him and hopefully he'll die before Sin accumulates too high.
*If you've built up some Charge it'll come in real handy for the final phase with how light-draining it is. Speaking of, if reasonably possible give Binah the abnormality page that increases her light gain, as she'll be very light-starved at level 5.
That's more or less my experience and approach on it, so far. Perhaps that it helps?
yeah, they're great as counter dice destroyer or just for dealing one sided damage. the best one you could use at SoTC level is Kalo. just remember to put some light regen (it's basically the biggest factor of your chance on winning). well, you already have binah tho. so just plan ahead i guess.
