[Finally Done!] Arming Up the Entire Library
It's a long time coming, but after a lot of experiment and testing (and real life issues interrupting), I have finally made a build for each floor of the library. Disclaimer first:
- This is by no means an optimal build. I tried to use key pages from the same reception in order to create certain themes for the floors.
- I will not include combat pages or passives *unless* they are important to the build. They will be in []. You figure out deck sustainability and passive synergy yourself.

All good? Strap in. This is gonna be a long post. From bottom to top floor:

Malkuth: Disco Inferno (Burn baby burn~)
Xiao [Miris&Chun], Miris x2, Chun x2

Yesod: Magic Bullet(s, there's gonna be a lot of them)
Kalo [Denis&Katriel], Denis x2, Katriel x2

Hod: Blood for the Blood Queen
Lowell [Mei&Cecil], Mei x2, Cecil x2
(Due to their passives, you actually *do not* have to build burn with Liu Section 2.)

Netzach: "I'm too 'Laz'y for This." *Fires Laser*
Nemo [Bada&Martina], Bada x2, Martina x2

Tiphereh: Ripple of (Magical Girl) Time
Rose, Sen [Lesti, Liu Fixer] x4
(The only build with key pages below Star&Impurity, because I ran out. Rip Space is OP, especially when you have 5 of them. Aim for Exodia on Tiph/Rose.)

Gebura: R-R-R-Red Misttttt!!!!!
Red Mist, Nikolai, Myo, Maxim, Rudolph [R Corp passives + Health Hauler]
(It was tempting to attribute Myo to Gebura for that +5 power, but I want to see Myo fighting alongside her hero.)
(Reindeer&Rhino passives make you more powerful as you lose more health, while Health Hauler provides sustainability.)

Chesed: Friendship is Magic (and Strength, a lot of Strength)
Yan, Mirinae, Hana Fixer x3 [Solidarity, Bi Xi, Coordinated Assault]
(Absolutely OP. Average of 3+ Strength on everyone, every scene.)

Binah: "You Shall Crumble." (Fairy&Feeble Hell)
Rabbit x4 [Full-Stop passives and ranged pages]
(Only good for 1-2 opponents. Any more, the debuffs get spread too thin to be effective.)

Hokma: *Sigh* "Fine. Have Faith in Blockma Balls."
Purple Tear, Ester, Hubert, Gloria, Snoop Bear*
*Boris with Smoke build aka poor person's Finishing Touch/Mark)

Keter: The Leftover Team (that is still pretty OP)
Olivier, Harold, Snoop Bear x2

Welcome to how I play Library of Ruina. It's a challenge to be sure, but a hell of a lot of fun to play it this way (and you discover surprisingly good setups when you keep the entire floor in mind while doing it). Typically don't aim for just using SotC/Impurity setups, though.

Well based on the amount of blue's team members each floor should be getting a boss :D Do you think you can arm them for it?

The feat is extremely difficult to do so without compromising. Also I refuse to believe we are forced to play certain floors we don't even want to use to fight the ensemble. Not many would enjoy that. PT's rng floor mechanic is an absolute waste of time and no one likes it.

Can't imagine dividing your resources that thin gets you a victory in the tougher Star of the City missions and beyond. I barely won with my "B team" against a certain handsy boss because they had a lot of backup regarding passives and a good setup.
(Hana For All + Buffs + Yan's page, AKA "you get a buff, and you get a buff, and you get a buff! Everyone gets a buff!!")

Frankly, i don't even want to try the latest non-duel fight with my B-team given that outcome.

Besides that, PM would be foolish to force us to equip all 10 floors for such a fight, no-one would want to deal with a TEN-ACT FIGHT, jesus. And if it was tied to a specific floor like the latest story invitation, you could still put your A-team pages on it, and just swap em every time.

So ideally they'll just let us pick our favourite floor(s) for the fights.
And with some luck the last chapter will give us fun pages with The Head and blue boi's gang of misfits.

Honestly, I've always felt that this is how you've been meant to play the game. It feels a lot cooler keeping multiple floors armed, at the very least. This is why I've been bothered by how many 2-act, 1-floor receptions there have been, because they've been encouraging a playstyle of "just equip 1 floor with all the best Key Pages." That just feels lame TBH.

Also, don't forget Urban Nightmare! There's at least some stuff from there that's still usable. We can debate whether or not the weaker UN Key Pages are still viable, but I doubt that anyone will disagree with me when say that stuff like Rose's Page and the Unstable Page of the Crying Children are still quite useful. If you're feeling daring, there's potentially even more!

Yujin’s page is uniquely useful and thus great for this kinda challenge.
It’s actually not too difficult to give each floor a different strategy, and if you focus on Exodia for Tiph you can potentially get a lot of use out of weaker pages (since they need to lose anyways)

It's way more fun to try and outfit all floors than to just stack the same three floors for minmaxing.

You just have to play well and make use of the abno pages you have. My first 2 victories against buffed handyman were using non-stacked floors, one using stealth Netzach(aka the cheap way lol) and another using Gebura, back when I had three of her assistants run stuff like Emma and Smiling Faces.

I have done that lately, for example, I use mostly Malkuth floor with a burn team, my yesod has most of the Hana, could make some changes though but Mirinae is on yesod because of that one E.G.O that gives strength per hit and also rhythm (I don't know if it works with Hana for All.)
Hod is your basic Bleed team and thought of making Netz some unkillable team with the Haulers.
For others I'm a bit too lazy, but Tiph would be something that could abuse other pages other than simply exodia, Olivier with procuration and Sword Sharpened with Tears, your average Geburah with myo prowess and probably some stagger team, Chesed with mass attack spam with Magic Trick, Banana with someone abusing the power nullification and use high rolling cards, Hokma with some block team and buffs and for last, Kether with probably another mass attack spam + Thumb probably.

The problem comes down to passives.

There tends to be limited availability of the really good passives, forcing you to channel everything into one or two floors. Realisations just further perpetuated this mentality.

If they really want us to equip all floors, then they need to have general receptions give us pages with good passives we already have.

I've finally done it and updated this post!

well done!

Seems pretty solid

I could entirely see the Rhino/Reindeer combo working with Health Hauler, actually.
Considering how Fear of Water interacts with Absorption and Vampirism, could rack up those buffs and still have good health for multiple rounds.
Ekimmak Feb 16, 2021 @ 8:41pm
Actually, one more thought: why have a floor of Sen's with Liu and Lesti attributions, when you could have a floor of Liu (+Rose) with Sen and Lesti attributions?
