Melee vs. Ranged clash changed?
So I was fighting Netzach's newest abnormality and clashed Transpierce against its ranged attacks.

Surprisingly, instead of rerolling Transpierce's attack dice after winning the clash, a new attack dice was added behind its block dice instead.
So the clash turned into (Attack > Block > Attack > Attack) instead of (Attack > Attack > Attack > Attack > Block)

Just wanted to confirm if it's always been like this or not, since I tend to be forgetful.

As far as I'm aware, it used to just reuse the winning attack die until it lost or it hit directly, it might be a change related to the mass attack one, maybe.

Its changed in a weird way. Attack die recycle and shuffle to the very back. Its technically not the same die, so it loses effects and buffs on first die.

Yeah that's definitely new behaviour. Can't say i like it, but i suppose it invalidates ranged enemies less. Still can't see much of a reason to use ranged myself with the immense one-time-use or other drawbacks.

Guess it's good to know it's shuffled to the back if it wins a roll, though. Though this mechanic is gonna make it god-awful to try and win 2-3 ranged rolls in a row, especially vs Knight of Despair or the likes...
Edit: Well maybe nevermind, i take it pages with just one attack dice reroll themselves repeatedly just like the old behaviour was.

The Ranged cards from the Thumb do not exhaust besides the ones from the Passive or Reload or that other card IIRC. The reason why is because they are limited like with the Full-Stop office as they have access to funding to allow them to have infinite ammunition

Right. And evade die will be used like normal, reusing that die until it fails.

I guess Singular Strike was already the passive of choice for handling strong ranged attacks (IE: Knight of Despair). I guess they want ranged die to have a chance of getting in a shot versus the likes of Transpierce, where it's a strong die followed by a weaker one?
