Summation, on win: Do damage, destroy all enemy dice on targetted page. On lose: no damage, enemy keeps all dice.
(Should destroy all dice used since summation lumps them together into one big roll. Unsure about Counter dice, though, if they're included, too.)
Individual, on win: Destroy current dice/roll, do damage. On Lose, no damage, enemy keeps current dice/roll.
(If it's a 1>2>3 Individual Mass Attack vs a enemy's 1>2>3 card, and you win attack 1 & 2 but lose 3, the enemy only gets to use attack 3.)
Only other quirks i could think of in that system is that Mass Attacks take top priority (even over Ranged, with the player's mass attacks going first), and that Mass Attacks can't "clash"/interfere with other Mass Attack pages.
tested before using Serpentine Barrier against Red Mist's Mass Attack. Counter dice doesn't count and would not clash with mass attack
Nosferatu has a page that says it destroys all dice on hit. With speed 7 and I didn't contest it at all since I had no way of stopping it, why then does my librarian still get to use Graze the Grass from that speed die on a bat later on in that scene?
Thirst rolls 6-8 with a +3 from STR so 9-11, there's no way graze the grass blocked it (it's not a mass attack anyway, should've been one-sided so automatic hit).
Same with Mass attacks, when they first appeared I read that they destroy individual dice or pages on hit, so I factored that in, then the dice that were meant to be destroyed still activated anyway, so I've ignored it since then. But on a page that specifically says it destroys dice? I don't get it.
Can anyone explain how its meant to work? Does it only destroy the dice on a clash? Because that makes no sense for mass attacks. But would explain why Thirst's On Hit didn't seem to proc. Anyone tested cancelling dice with mass attacks more?
I assume its supposed to be something like ranged attacks where when they win a "clash" they cancel out the die, but mass attacks never clash. Although it works much like a ranged attack if you target the speed die with mass attack on, I suppose.
