I have now seen a 4-digit damage number in Library of Ruina.
I just watched a Thumb Soldato take 1160 stagger damage in a single blow.
To explain a bit more about Mass Attacks, look at Grinder Mk52 (or Argalia's Temperus Danza), it attacks one target randomly one-by-one. This is the same to all Mass Attacks, just that it is done in an instant.
The problem is, the damage multipliers stacks after each attack trigger. The first target gets the +100% damage, the second gets +200%, and so on. To the fifth getting +500% (So they take x6 damage multiplied my modifiers of their Resistances and all)
If they happens to have 10 Smoke and Nikolai's Mark, then they take 1200% damage.
And if they are staggered, they take double damage. And Fragile alongside external damage boosting also gets multiplied from this stuff
You can see where this goes when you roll a 12 and one random guest eats 537 damage.
Oh, do a Clone deck or Highlander works. Your goal is to get to 20 Charge and then never spend them. So Concentration is your friend
Suppose that's the "power" or "singularity" of the Library. The ability to mix & match the abilities and knowlege of all the fallen guests into truly fearsome combat builds.
God, i love passive ability customization in video games. Double-summoning in FF Tactics... Units with like well over +200% attack in Disgea... Perhaps even various item combos in the Binding of Isaac (and many other roguelikes)... Oh, great fun...
