this is to avoid them gaining the +1 power to their dice
-Take some of their Key Pages/Combat Cards and use em for yourself, even if you ultimately lose the battle initially. They're good cards.
-Deck-wise: I was using something like Prescript lunge (2), Prescript draw (3), Liu light-gain card (0), Energy Cycle (0), Wait Up (0) or alternatively the Smoke light-regen (0), Liu sword (2, becomes 1 on higher emotion level) or as suitable alternative the Smoke-inflicting slash card (2), Emotional Turbulence (3) or alternatively Loss of Senses (3), and Deep Drag (3).
(The Smoke debuff from Deep Drag lets you hurt them a lot more, if you apply it with your highest speed unit, they die a lot faster.)
-As others mentioned, ideally DO NOT clash with them (barring maybe exceptions such as when your units are staggered and you need to protect em), you're likely to lose said clash, and they get a significant power boost from higher emotion levels. Killing them off as quickly as possible one by one works best, just like the Index fellas do to you (with frightening effeciency).
-Royally abuse the Sweeper's healing passive on all your units, and perhaps even throw some Instant Cooking (from Pierre) onto it, too. Even nerfed down to a measely 5% it still rocks.
(It still synergizes quite nicely with the Shi pages. So... That's a option, too. It was also fun using the Prescript key pages with their nifty boost, but that requires ideally a different deck of 2 of every damage type.)
-Yesod's floor has exellent E.G.O abilities to use to stagger someone from full SP/stagger health, definitely go for Forsaken Murderer and Butterfly if possible.
-I assume you already know this but at this point you really should have 2 speed dice on everyone. And it helps to go big with 2-cost and 3-cost cards followed by a 0-cost regen, which effectively cuts the light cost down by 1. And decks are basically pure DPS at this point, with the general strategy being "kill it, kill it FAST before it kills you".
and using yesod when i feel like farming.
