Not able to shoot time portal?

I got to the first chamber where you're able to shoot time portals and no matter what, it just zooms in, even though i cleared and edited the key for that on mouse and keyboard + controller. Anyone else having this issue?

Clicking your mouse wheel zooms in? Does it also zoom if you change the button to something on your keyboard?

yeah it always zooms in, even if i bind zoom to a random key, same for trying to bind time portal to any button

I'm having the same issue. Can't shoot time portal. Did you find a solution for this? I tried to verify file integrity. Found one bad file and re-downloaded it, but still didn't fix the issue. Even when I reassign the time portal button, it won't work. I just uninstalled the whole game and am re-downloading.

You can't shoot the time portal in the first 2 or 3 levels when you obtain it. Just continue and the narrator will tell you when you can start shooting it

2023, the problem is still here. When I play with a controller, it only zooms in. No time portal is shooted. Changing controls doesn't help. Whatever key I assign to time portal, it turns to zoom.

it doesn't work in that exact level where you are supposed to shoot it.

I found that when the game is first loaded or controller map is reverted to default, the RB makes a time portal. Then the LS & RS don't crouch nor use anymore. When I merely look at the controller mapping, RB now zooms and LS & RS work... Just no time portal when mapped to any button.

I clicked "Restore Defaults" and now RB shoots the time portal.
