Controller Support

It says that this game won't support my PS4-Controller. Dont wanna buy a new controller just for this game :/. I hope its just a misake by the game or does anyone have more information about that?

There are 2 important settings, 1 in normal Steam mode and 1 in Big Picture mode:

Normal Steam:

Go to "Library" and right click the game
Go to the "Controller" tab
"Override for WWE 2K22" > "Use default settings"

Big Picture mode:

Settings
Controller Settings
Uncheck (leave blank/empty) "PlayStation Configuration Support"

Additional info:
- This may not work for all games (especially PC only games) but it should work for the games which have a console version since those most likely already include the controller inputs.
- You don't have to play the game through Big Picture mode.
- If you want to do the same for other games (if it supports controller input) repeat step 1 (normal Steam) for each game.

I hope this helps some of you.

Edit: Here's a screenshot of it working. Tested with PS4 and PS5 controller.

Considering the game is releasing on PlayStation platforms and that there are far more PlayStation controllers out there than Xbox, this would be a pretty massive oversight.

I heard the game lacks PS button prompts but your controller should work just fine.

On PC there are countless MS controllers. But I heard that some people didn't realize that for more than a decade MS controllers have dominated the PC market.

But a PS4 controller will work fine. That won't be an issue. At all. You may need to relearn some prompts, at worst. No reason to refund or anything like that. I assure you.

Don't be that person that doesn't get it.

FYI I have used my PS4 controller on my PC, but I do have more MS controllers to use. I never had serious issues with my PS4 controller, so I doubt you will either.

right click on the game select gamepad options then click on general controller settings and steam will direct you to big picture mode, steam will detect your gamepad there automatically. If it doesn't, just do it manually. Just choose your gamepad type.

Game sees ps4 controller as xbox controller.

The game is seeing my ps4 controller as a xbox controller. Its getting confusing with all different button icons popping up on the screen anyone know how to fix that?

Playstation prompts possible on PC?

Hello,
I've found that many console ports sometimes do not allow playstation buttom prompts. Can anyone confirm if this game allows Playstation button prompts instead of Xbox?

Yes I am aware of the normal process for enabling it. Not all games support this though. My question was whether this game supports it or not.

I'll take that as a yes that it's included then.

I played the game with a ps4 controller and yes, it does show playstation prompts
