Myst at night time

I sincerely hope that the new version of Myst WILL NOT have the stupid night time like the one in Real Myst, it is simply annoying, not to be able to enjoy playing the game anytime you want during the "daytime".

And if they do put a night time, I hope that there will be a Day Time Only in the settings so that I can fully appreciate the graphics and not forced to stop playing until the game goes back to daytime.

I wouldn't mind a day-night cycle as long as they make it bright enough during the night to play unhindered. That, or maybe they could make it so that the sun has a unique orbit where it never fully sets or something like that, so you could have day, dusk, and then dawn, but no full on night. I really do enjoy seeing the ages at different times of day, but yeah, the night in realMyst: Masterpiece Edition was definitely too dark.

I'd prefer it stay true to whatever time of day it was in the original game. That being said, I'd be down for a real time clock. Meaning, whatever time of day it is in real life, its the same in Myst. The one thing I definitely DONT want is a fast day/night cycle. Those are such a turnoff for me in games. Was it fast in RealMyst?

About 40 to 45 minutes in day time then about the same in night time-not a nice way to play.

I've seen screenshots of the StoneShip age and it comes with a huge sunset, it looks really nice and it seems to me that it's a static skybox, so I really doubt there will be a day/night cycle.

You just stop playing just because it's night? You know this isn't Minecraft right? Creepers aren't going to start showing up just because it's nightfall.

Not afraid, simply someone that enjoys the beauty of the graphics in the day time.
