Was really enjoying the update... until...
... I reached the second bossfight. Man, that was really unfair. The fight itself is pretty unbalanced in favor of the boss, but I can accept that. But... if you make the HUGE error to fall into the central pit... you are screwed! I mean, it's ok if you unlock another ending, but it is incredibly unfair that, in order to try the fight again, you have to re-do the ENTIRE cave level from the very beginning! Man, that was a real kick in the balls! It was so hard that I even spit them out of my mouth. Mmmh... I'll have to wait some days before I find the energy to try that fight again. Shame, I was having fun.

Well... turns out I exaggerated a bit! Yes, I had to re-do the level, but it was not the burden I thought. AND, the second bossfight is completely doable once you understand how to trick the monster. I apologize for my previous complaints, they were not necessary after all! I have a question though: once I beat the monster, I was teleported to the chapel, and that polygon thing spoke to me as I had already beaten the game once, but I didn't: in my first playthrough, after I fell in the central pit of the bossfight arena, I immediately quit to the main menu to try the fight again (while I was on the lifeboat), so my save file got overwritten before I could see the ending. Did I screw something up? Will I be able to see the other endings, including the one I accidentally skipped? If I cannot, is there any way to reset my progress?
Thanks.

About the bossfight - yeah, it's actually not hard once you figure out what's going on and how to react to it.

About endings - if I got you right, you haven't ruined anything but I would not reset the game next time I fall to the pit if I was you. One of the endings is kicking boss ass. The other one comes after failing to do that while falling to the pit.

And you're actually right that if you fall and you want to restart the bossfight you either have to react really fast to restart the level or restart it from the beginning from Level Select, which is unfair, frustrating, and requires to be fixed. Thank you, I feel weird we haven't thought about it before

Hi! Thanks for your answer!
Actually, I found it all out by myself. I was so curious that I re-did the cave level again just to see the ending I missed in my firts playthrough! And now I'm happy I did, because I prefer this ending rather than the one where you kill the monster ( killing not one, but even two keepers as the monster is very very fun, and the ending explains the story much better ). Overall, you did a great job with this update, I'm very satisfied. I'd say the entire game is much more fun and enjoyable now. In particular, I appreciated two things:
- you removed the most tedious sections, i.e., the maze chase and the temple puzzle
- you gave much more importance to the shotgun
Excellent job!

Also, if you intend to update the game again in the future, can I suggest a little change? Since the release of this game I have always hated the section where you have to re-fill the fuel of the lighthouse three times (the part where the monster pushes the fuel container towards you ), because I feel it is too long and slow, too tedious. Maybe it would be much more enjoyable if you had to re-fill the fuel just once. Just my opinion, of course.

I'm having considerably more trouble with the "Chase" or reverse boss fight.

I beat this by the way. It's really easy to cheese if you figure it out.

Yes, both fights are doable once you understand the trick.

I have like 3 hours in the game during my first run and a lot of that was me wandering around looking for stuff or what to do during a few sections. The first town flashback and the holes puzzle took the longest.

That being said this game affected my dreams so that's.. something.

Welcome to my world pal! I have plenty of nightmares every night, but I can't stop playing this stuff!

During the first encounter when you're human, I didn't see a shotgun so I just jumped into the hole since I couldn't find anything to interact with.
Then I died like 5 times as the monster trying to kill the human with the shotgun lol

Still interesting though.
