Thanks.
About the bossfight - yeah, it's actually not hard once you figure out what's going on and how to react to it.
About endings - if I got you right, you haven't ruined anything but I would not reset the game next time I fall to the pit if I was you. One of the endings is kicking boss ass. The other one comes after failing to do that while falling to the pit.
And you're actually right that if you fall and you want to restart the bossfight you either have to react really fast to restart the level or restart it from the beginning from Level Select, which is unfair, frustrating, and requires to be fixed. Thank you, I feel weird we haven't thought about it before
Actually, I found it all out by myself. I was so curious that I re-did the cave level again just to see the ending I missed in my firts playthrough! And now I'm happy I did, because I prefer this ending rather than the one where you kill the monster ( killing not one, but even two keepers as the monster is very very fun, and the ending explains the story much better ). Overall, you did a great job with this update, I'm very satisfied. I'd say the entire game is much more fun and enjoyable now. In particular, I appreciated two things:
- you removed the most tedious sections, i.e., the maze chase and the temple puzzle
- you gave much more importance to the shotgun
Excellent job!
That being said this game affected my dreams so that's.. something.
Then I died like 5 times as the monster trying to kill the human with the shotgun lol
Still interesting though.
sooo... what's the trick? lol im having troubles with this "reverse" boss fight, sometimes i can dodge shots but sometimes i cant, cant seem to catch the guy even when i manage to dodge around 4 shots in a row while constantly getting closer
