This isnt wow.. with billions of dollars made.. This is a game that failed over an over again.. Why even risk putting off ANY players.. Your brand cant handle that.. =)
Point and case 1 hacker in fallout 76 literally stealing everything 500 other players own using a hack thus making the game unplayable for those 500 other users.

Sure this is a completely different game but fact is this guy literally ruining other players experience in a game it what this person considers fun, and even if what he doing is against TOS it doesn't change the end result of his actions before he was banned, and it didn't take much effort for him to do this.
So OW PVP without restrictions will increase a griefer's tools an options for griefing but these players will always find a way to grief you. So demanding features be removed from the game cause you don't like how griefers use them isn't the solution cause the griefers will find a new way to grief you every time. Restrictions should be added to prevent OW PVP from being a tool for griefers but removing it completely is pointless and will have no effect in stopping griefers.
No you dont consent to be teabagged by a giant skull over an over again.. Then again its because of people who use STUPID logic like you are using.. That these games die.. come out.. die again.. come out.. an DIE SOME MORE.. There is a intelligent way to put pvp into a game.. 99.999% of these games do NOT do this.. its easier to just be lazy..
The PvP in Bless is said tochange in the future because it will be reworked and anyway, even with the current system, there are malus if you go out and kills indiscriminately.
Also, the ammount of stupid Pkers/griefers in the PvP community is smaller than you can think. Not everyone that loves PvP goes on rampage and kill on sight just because they can.
I can make an example of myself and my whole Clan. We don't go killing everyone just because we can, unless there are serious reasons behind or there is an active war with our Clan. And MANY other Clans are like that... not just us.
I don't understand why all this whining and cry about OwPvP. You get attacked a couple of times by random idiots and then the WHOLE PvP community is a piece of garbage? Please, stop that attitude.
Wants to go out and be fine? Well, it's easy: Find a Clan, go around in teams and griefer just will avoid you like you are sick as hell because they can't do nothing against organized teams. MMMORPGs are supposed to be played with Clans and/or Alliances (when there are) backing your ass, and not going alone picking flowers..
Or change game with one more fitting... Either solution are fine. Games can't satisfy 100% everyone.
I am, because I only pvp in dedicated pvp scenarios, where there may be (at least) an attempt at balance, because of the numbers that are pitted against each other and preferably where gear doesn’t influence a match or is designed for the confines of pvp scenarios, if anything, it is the trash that relies on gear, level, superior numbers, waiting for other players to be in compromised situations, in order to engage, etc, that are asking for something worse than a “safe space”, you ask for handicaps.
Usually an “honest pvp’er” won’t even bother with mmo pvp anyways, they will usually look for shooters, 2d/3d fighters, etc for their pvp fix, while those that look for handicaps or griefing will gravitate towards open world pvp mmo’s.
Balancing of PVP and PVE has never worked, it’s never happened as far as I’ve seen, especially when the same gear is used for both scenarios, in those cases its always laughably broken, and the pvp has no meaning, as someone that likes grinding, I definitely don’t want grinding to be a factor in my favour when it comes to pvp. Basically when I want some exploring, fun killing mobs/bosses, nice looking characters, some coop, I may look for mmos like these, if I want to pvp I’ll go to a game that has that as its only focus.
Imo this is completely false, id argue in my experience it’s the complete opposite, it’s pretty funny actually, I know it’s not an mmo, but considering how much RDO I’ve been playing lately, it makes this statement seem even more departed from reality.
Probably what many will do.
As I said solutions are simple, PVP flagging, PVP dedicated servers, etc, so everyone wins, and even game longevity may increase, both types of players being accepted, means a better chance of a bigger community, those that don’t like such solutions, are 100% grifers, cause we know why such solutions don’t satisfy them…
Solutions that actually work:
PVP zones, you enter you must take responsibility for the out come.
PVP request system, can't openly PVP else the other part says yes.
PVP level capping, you can't attack or PK any one of a lower level as set by the system.
PVP jailing and bounty reward, if a PKer dies by NPC or PC, they wake up in prison for X amount of time, and before prison there is a bounty on them and tag telling every bounty hunter the know area the PKer and if you kill the PKer you get a nice bounty..
These are a few examples, but just doing open no holds PKing is never good in an MMO, and should stay in the RUST style sandboxes
Thanks
-All is white at start.
-If you attack someone you enter in aggressive mode and you become Purple for 60s. Keeping attacking keeps you purple.
-If you kill someone that is NOT purple (so you attack a person that is white and kill him), you get karma points and become RED. If you get killed in this status by people that is either white OR purple (or even by guards) you will drop randomly stuff from your gear and/or your inventory content.
-The more karma points you get by killing (each person killed add a set ammount of Karma points) in red mode, the more stuff you may drop (number increases).
-You are red until all karma points are cleaned and karma points gets cleaned over time and by killing mobs.
-If you are purple and someone attack back at you, the attacker become purple too and that mean both are in PvP mode with NO consequences if some kill the others.
-That system works flawlessly either it was 1v1 or 1.000 vs 1.000 killing each other in open world PvP.
And i hope they will use that system. It is easy to implement and easy to control.
The sight of a Pker being chased by an angry mass of people to punish him and in hope to get their drop was the most fun thing to watch.
