We are trying to play coop through remote play and it's not working. Can someone help us with this?

I've noticed that when playing one player that the player has the option to add bots to help out with progression but this isn't available in 2 player. I play 2 player a lot but at a certain point we find ourselves overwhelmed as the orders get more complex and 2 people are required in the kitchen alone, let alone serving/drinks/etc. We have to ignore the joggers just to keep up. When playing single player, I wish a bot could be purchased right away if the player has the money instead of having to wait so many levels to unlock it. Additionally, it would be helpful if single players could have the option to also purchase a bot helper that stays in the kitchen vs just serving because the game is still hard on single player easy mode when there is one person in the kitchen. Moreover, when two players are playing, I wish a bot was still available to purchase as a server or kitchen help...

What does easy mode do?

I'm having trouble with Sushi Bros. I can't for the life of me figure out how to cook the rice and I can't find any of the other ingredients in the kitchen. I see the water well but when I bring a pot over to it nothing happens.
