Monkeys from Space?

What are these? They seem to be separate from Monkey Teams. I don't see any quest/event for them, but the rewards (bloonstones) appears anyway. My city is level 10.

I think it might be something to do with the monkeys you place when doing it but I don't really know

when I got it was when the Christmas present event

wasnt that an event where ufos attack your buildings and you need to beat their levels to free the buildings and get rewards? fairly certain ive had the event once but i dont think it returned yet

yeah that's the one, just what's happening is it popping up while the event isn't active for some reason

There are 5 monkeys with green eyes running around in your city. Click on them, then the UFOs will turn yellow and you can click on them.

I am level 37 and the reward varies from bonus monkey to boss ability.

Yo why is this event so hard, what am I doing wrong? Can I turn it off? The game's like unplayable now.

well i just got a ufo remains but i dont know where it have gone or what to do with it

This event popped back up today, although it only gave me 12 hours to win back all my stuff.

The UFO remains can be found with the other decor. The hammer / saw icon in the bottom right; then the pot icon on the bottom of the list; then I think the pot icon again.

The event was about a week long, you either didn't play for a while and just came back or you were too low level until November 6.
