Had the game denuvo? If yes, is this removed?

Yes it has denuvo and no it has not been removed. This game is dead, you won't find anyone invading your game, such a shame that they ignored the community and just let it die- its been 8 months and they still haven't done the one improvement everyone has been asking for.

Denuvo isn't the issue it's the horrid VOID(IDTech5) engine they used for this game...

What an actual clown, this isnt for people that can play video games normally and comfortably.

I have new crash bugs occurring in Karls Bay getting out the left door (was almost done with my first playthrough and this is definitely new). I was able to finish by ignoring the optional challenge that brought me there. I started again and now also have a bug crossing Updaam bridge at noon.

Sounds like they just made the game infinitely easier for whatever reason. As if it wasn't already too easy.

The developers have added difficulty settings to make the game easier or harder, this is absolutely correct and should have been in the game from the very beginning. The only drawback is that you cannot play with the changed difficulty in online mode.

Is the game still unoptimized to the point of being unplayable or is it at least marginally better ?

it would be great if you fixed the problem that so many players are having where they cant even launch the game.

I think, no one, who ever played these strange game, wouldn't have expected these kindly behavior of the development anymore. Thanks, i guess. I will try it out again, after the last agains.

No optimization at all? No mention of the terrible memory leak the game has suffered from since launch? About to give up on ever being able to play this game without having serious issues.

Too little, too late. Performance was unacceptably terrible and never got better. You spent all that time on art and design and lovely things but forgot to actually put in the work so we could play it on PC. Classic tale of modern game releases. Please hire more QA and provide them with the support and time to actually test your games instead of rushing towards release dates for shareholders.

All look better, have far more stressful graphical elements and run far better than your game.
