A colt that stays invisible and teleports around, and kills in one shot.. is that a hacker?
Or is there a combination of a loadout that I dont know the limits of.

That is a distinct possibility, I have seen people posit that because the game runs through the host (Colt) they could potentially cheat and be invincable.

there are a couple of upgrades that let you stay invisible in more situations. I don't know about one shotting though. Maybe with an upgraded sniper rifle. I definitely start hunting jules as soon as she (you) pops in. I generally machine gun to mow y'all down. guilty on the t-port plus inviso though. Alsp I've been seemingly one shotted, or at least killed instantly, without ever seeing Jules a couple of times. And also out classed more than once.

well @capo rip Imagine this, you spawn in and they have killed a visionary (Charlie). You try to meet colt at a choke point and you see him invisible and blinking past you seeing him blink at least 8 times. You make your presence aware by firing at him, he turns, shoots you dead in what you heard was a single shot.

That is what happened to me. Ive tried making up a loadout that inviso blinks but I cant. My only theory is that they have infinite HP + Plasma Perk (The one that lets you use health as Mana).

I guess this is one of them
Hackers exist because they're incredibly bad at games. Because of this they can never experience the satisfaction you get from beating someone, just rage at losing every single time.

So because they can't ever win naturally they turn to hacks to to get some revenge on all these other players who can, and to release some of that anger and frustration. Mostly it's kids who are new to games and some adults with learning disabilities.

Inviso has a flicker mod, so I could have seen that happening with a full loadout for it, Plasma and Juiced Up would allow you to blink 8 times straight up, but that dosent account for the invis :/

Yeah you risk killing yourself if you have that sort of setup.

No idea how much hp plasma power takes away, if it's 'incredibly efficient' then maybe 10% for 1 power gauge? If it counts as temporary damage you can regenerate it probably, or use other sources to heal.

Plasma Power + Havoc with damage healing might keep it up but you have to keep doing damage constantly, or the havoc will drain all your hp away.

There is a glitch where Aether invisibility sometimes doesn't drain power like it should, though I'm not sure what triggers it. That, plus the Flicker upgrade which lets you attack without fully breaking invisibility, could possibly make invisibility infinite.

Not sure about the one-hit kill though.

There explosive guns that could probably kill you in one hit. Last night after my last reply, I killed Jules in two hits with an explosive dart gun at point blank range. I had it equipped with the shoot faster add on so it was very quick. I was also invisible with the no mana loss while standing, and attacks only make you flicker not break invisibility add ons in place. I was standing back against a wall plotting my next move and jules ran in and took "cover" like 10 foot in front of me, so I was also behind the cover she was hiding behind. It happened so fast I forget to change weapons and just started blasting. She did not even have time to face me. Pretty sure she never saw me. No hacks, just being careful in my hunt for jules

Literally after seeing this post, I went and set up exactly that with the Havok slab (w/ Euphoria and Withdrawal), and then Plasma, Juiced Up, Never Say Die and Bloodthirsty. As long as there is someone for me to run towards with this setup, I'm nigh unkillable in melee, and Shift w/ Dropkick addon makes this build feel broken :p.
Just gotta remember to turn off your Havok when the fun is all done, or your searching for a healing station xD

There's an upgrade that allows you to stand still while invisible without using any power, and another that allows you to attack while invisible without fully leaving invisibility (you become semi-visible for a second) and yet another that allows you to very efficiently use health instead of power when power is empty, which would help you use shift (if you meant shift... dunno about teleporting beyond the limits of shift) while invisible.

And there's a ton of weapons that'd kill with a single headshot.

So while a cheater is definitely possible, it's also very possible to have an assassin build.

Also, the game can be quite laggy depending on the connection quality (it's peer-to-peer) so the "teleporting" could actually just be rubberbanding. I connected to a friend's game yesterday while downloading, because I completely forgot I was downloading, and from my perspective he appeared out of nowhere and one-shot me.

So there's a lot of possibilities.

^ This. Using this strat I absolutely killed it in every PvP encounter I had during my playthrough. I'd move up on Julianna with invis on, and go into cover to regen when I needed mana. Rinse and repeat. With the standing still upgrade AND the shoot from invisibility upgrade people never saw me coming. It's a lot of fun, but pretty cheeky too.
