Generator surrounded by mines

Is it possible to get the power generator in the Complex level to work that is surrounded by mines deep in the bunker?
Even if I manage to hack the mines, the generator spits out the battery after which causes the mines to explode anyway.
Ive also tried to catch the battery mid air which didnt work

Ahah, screw that generator. I got scammed by that bridge.

You can literally just crouch over that bridge without being affected by the water at all. Take tiny steps toward the mine, looking straight at it. When close enough, you can disarm it.

You can Shift to the other side of the generator from the main area, but you still have to disarm them. I once tried putting the battery in and turning it, and it worked. The battery got flung out as usual, then boom. xD

Just after the first generator with the trip mines, just crouch and slowly inch your way to the proximity mines. The bridge is totally safe. Damned bridge... I tried that I think 4 times before finding out it was safe!

Just don't shoot at the mine directly. lol

Honestly not needed if you can be bothered to inch your way though. But yeah, those are options.

I didn't turn them on because in the control room above it says that they are faulty and to not turn them on

Did you actually do that?

Because I cant disarm them. I can only hack them so that they are on my side. But cannot do anything else.

Thats weird because I just disarmed them all to begin with, but I never turned the generators on

If you are using a controller, have yourself go at a snail's pace. If using a keyboard, tap the forward key bit by bit. Do this whilst staring right at the mine.

There is a good chance that the beeping speed sup, but that is fine; it isn't a timer, but merely an indicator that it'd likely explode if you get much nearer. You should have the prompt to disarm it then.

Just hold the button indicated, and it should be disarmed. It'd no longer emit any lights or beeping. Then move on to the rest.

Yeah you just gotta crouch, slowly get as close as possible, and disable them, im not sure if you can disable them after hacking them, honestly I didn't even know you could hack them so haven't tried that yet, but I've gotten that generator on twice now no problem, long as I disable the mines first

Also, if it is your first time there, just turn 2 of them on. You can only power up 1 thing during your first visit anyway.

Later on, you will have the code that you can use to divert power to the other 3 locations. Turn those 3 on then. You can then go to the other 3 stations in a single loop. That means you won't have to re-do another loop and go back down there yet another morning.

so there is no point in having them all running at once?

Because Ive already visited every location I can open with the power. I just thought it might reveal a secret or something to have them all running

lol I tried to guess the password in power station on my first time walking into the power station, then turned on all the generators except for the two generators that are set up with mines ( they are faulty ). So on the first entry in the power station you can pretty much turn on electricity to three bunkers.
