I have a 3080 and 10850k, noticeable stutter when it deviates from the imposed cap of 120 fps or 60fps. It is a widespread and common issue, people are justifiably upset. I have refunded and will continue playing it on PS5. It's not as nice there but at least it's more consistent.
Even when you have 120 FPS solid it feels bad. Something is just wrong with the game. Playing on a controller has helped me notice it less.
Digital foundry proved that every 5th frame the game skips making aiming very odd & thus the "stutter" people are feeling. You can have great FPS that isn't fully the issue...
trust me it's worse than Stable 30fps
Should have used CryEngine, like Prey 2017. That game ran great.
Sure buddy, sure you are. Sometimes I wish I had defective eyeballs too, life would be simpler.
You understand it doesn't effect everyone right?
Exactly. I am now at a point where i tuned the settings to my liking.
80 fps feel like 25 fps in deathloop.
Makes the action unsatisfying.
