Bad performance? What?
I have Ryzen 5 2600, 16 GB Ram, 1660 Ti and with Ultra graphics settings I have average 50 fps. Highest 80, lowest 30, in a single player game.

What is the problem? Sorry for the question, but I don't understand the main raging.

It has poor frame pacing and noticeable stutter. It is unacceptable. People are upset because it is compromising enjoyment for them.

I have a 3080 and 10850k, noticeable stutter when it deviates from the imposed cap of 120 fps or 60fps. It is a widespread and common issue, people are justifiably upset. I have refunded and will continue playing it on PS5. It's not as nice there but at least it's more consistent.

What you consider good I consider not good. That's all there is to it really.

Even when you have 120 FPS solid it feels bad. Something is just wrong with the game. Playing on a controller has helped me notice it less.

I have 80-120 fps but most of the time it feels like crap, like it's 40 fps or worse.

Frame pacing from the engine is the issue, devs are working on patch... (hope it works)

Digital foundry proved that every 5th frame the game skips making aiming very odd & thus the "stutter" people are feeling. You can have great FPS that isn't fully the issue...

even if you have 120fps but the framerate drop for some scene/stutter
trust me it's worse than Stable 30fps

Not a single issue with stutters or anything, running extremely smooth with max settings at 5120x1440. I just have the odd crash here and there that can be annoying.

It's their trash modified engine that they keep using. they should've used idtech6 or UE4

Should have used CryEngine, like Prey 2017. That game ran great.

I don't think I have a terrible machine, but I can't even run it at 1080p on LOW. Prey is fine, Dishonored 2 is also fine. But this... This I can only run at 720p with adaptive scaling regularly pushing it down to 480p. Kind of makes me feel like I'm playing a retro game instead of a modern AAA title.

Sounds like it's actually more your rigs fault rather then the games.

Sure buddy, sure you are. Sometimes I wish I had defective eyeballs too, life would be simpler.

Just be happy with your defective PC.

You understand it doesn't effect everyone right?

Exactly. I am now at a point where i tuned the settings to my liking.
80 fps feel like 25 fps in deathloop.
Makes the action unsatisfying.
