Note this isn't always going to work. Some Colts will spot the mines, and others can not trigger any without even realizing they're there. But setting them up takes ten seconds at most with shift, and if one does go off, you'll know exactly where Colt is.
Its kinda crazy how similar alot of people move. Alot of spots are basically on the most predictable pathways from spawn to antenna.
For example, on Updaam there are couple of rocks directly by the right library wall (looking from Colts spawn to Alexis mansion) which allow you to climb on a roof, place a mine on that roof, so climbing Colt would trigger it. Works quite often. On the other hand, there is a way on the left of the library, by the cliff, requires Shift to travers, and almost nobody takes it for some reason.
On Fistad Rock there is a little spot on right here https://i.imgur.com/wODAiBQ.jpg
On Karls Bay you can put a mine on top of that metal bridge https://i.imgur.com/gxmNyW6.jpg
I also put mine in this drain, which is another path from the beach into the Harriets hangar, but seems like very few people actually know about this path and everyone just takes a skybridge between two hangars: https://i.imgur.com/NycO4sd.jpg. Still think this is a good spot.
Another tip i could give is: to use more than 4 mines. Just pick up mines which are already placed and put them somewhere different.
In Alexis Mansion (Updaam) there are bunch of mines under the big room with meatgrinder and scene.
In Karls Bay there are three laser tripwires in Harriets hangar.
There are mines everywhere in Firstad Rock.
Also, if Colt completed his objective, you can place mines in one of his exits.
Generally speaking, Colt has life advantage (and lag advantage), while Juliana has info advantage, so good way of hurting Colt without getting hurt is by using your info to get a first shot (and potentially retreat).
Also, alot of playrs would argue that, but sniper rifles. Just tap him once or twice and reposition. Quite safe (unless player is rushing you). Also there are limited amount of healing on the map, and you can also learn where healing is, which gives you an edge.
I would recommend rifle with bleeding or charge (coiled snake) effects.
And same as with mines, just watch for common pathways first, if he did not show up, start checking any possible path.
Everyone has his own goals for playing video games, some people care about exploring game mechanics, some want to fool around, some value skill and want to be a better player.
And some just want to win with a simplest way possible, even if it is complete cheese without any skill whatsoever. So saying that you never loose does not really compel to most of us since it's not what we care about. Good for you, tho.
PS: to be honest, Colt has a huge advantage already, why even use machete cheese while playing him?
it makes people mad thus it is fun
How the ♥♥♥♥ do you cope with all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lag?
AI Julianna is really stupid and easy... she won't spawn kill you or dash to your face with a machete.
