yeah this is definetly annoying but you gotta look at it from their perspective too, they might have something good that isnt infused yet and dont wanna die. Maybe they are reworking their strategy and setting up a good defense, as a Juli player you really dont have anything to lose so play aggressively. Either way eventually the Colt will have to do SOMETHING.
Or, I'm trying to find Julianna without touching anything (so I don't get detected). Usually I hunt down the Julianna before I hack the escape (since hacking the escape gives away my position).
It usually works. Eventually Juliannas let down their guard and reveal themselves. Then they get sniped.
From my experience, the Juliannas who have gotten me to reveal themselves usually use clone. I tend to fall for the clone a lot, which makes me give away my position usually.
I would (again, based on my experience as Colt).
a) Put traps around corners leading to the beacon NOT at the beacon itself. Colt doesn't need to walk up to the beacon, just be in range. For example in Updaam - putting traps at the stairs, in the apartment, and on the ledge leading to the roof with the beacon on it is a solid idea.
b) Be aware that Colt is sometimes going to try to flank you (and go the long way around the level). Cover your rear. In Updaam, again as an example - I see a lot of Juliannas waiting for Colt to come from spawn to the beacon. Not many seem to except Colt to sneak around into the apartment.
c) Spawn your clone near the beacon, and watch it like a hawk. That might bait Colt.
d) Avoid jumping around on the roof. That is the first place I look as Colt. Sneak around the roofs, use windows if possible to avoid Colt seeing you.
----
Also, to all my fellow Colts - use Stealth but don't leave your Julianna waiting forever. She does drop some really nice loot. In my experience, players drop way better loot than the NPC does (I've gotten several powers early because of player Juliannas). It is nearly always worth the risk, it gives you a huge leap ahead in gear.
It would be nice to have Colt marked (like you can mark him with "T" key) once if he does not move much for a long time.
