Cannot launch on Steam Deck

Brand new Steam Deck OLED. Unmodified OS, latest updates.
Game launches to a small window stating "Disclaimer: AMD APUs are not currently supported by this game. You may experience instability or performance issues."

Selecting "Okay" does nothing. It is impossible to dismiss the small splash window in any way. Different Proton versions change nothing, it appears to be OS level.

Help...?

I played about 10-11 hours without issue. All of a sudden, as of yesterday, I'm experiencing the same issue too! I hope someone finds a solution because I was really digging this game. So I don't have an answer but I'm right there with you.

Came here to see if anyone was talking about this. Just got my steam deck today, and I am having the same problem. First game i tried to play on it too.

I think I found a fix. When the AMD window pops up, click the steam button. Underneath exit game you should see "Switch Windows" there. Highlight VoidEngine, press X to close the window, go back to the game and it should load right back up. You'll have to do this every time you want to load the game back up, tho.

Another fix I learned of was to use the previous proton version (that is, use proton 7 rather than 8)

This is the trick here. Also I heard you need to go to the ... menu and disable the frame rate limiter.
