Deathloop has an undiscounted price of $59.99, and it has two DLCs: The Deluxe Pack ($19.99) with some items, and the Original Game Soundtrack ($9.99).
The "Deluxe Edition" is advertised as containing 2 items: Deathloop (the base game), and the Soundtrack - but not the Deluxe Upgrade. The "Deluxe Edition" has a list price of $79.99. If customers would need to buy the Deluxe Pack DLC extra, then that would amount to $99.98 in total - whereas, if you buy all three parts separately, you'd only pay $89.97.
The fact that there is a sale, is irrelevant. Buying the "Deluxe Edition" plus the "Deluxe Pack" (if the product description is indeed correct and the DLC is missing from the bundle) currently costs $36.38, whereas buying all three products separately costs only $34.77. The OP's original calculation is also correct: Buying the Standard Edition plus the Soundtrack currently costs $24.78, whereas buying the Deluxe Edition (which is advertised as containing only these two items) costs $26.39.
The OP is absolutely correct _if_ the information on the product page is correct (which would mean that the "Deluxe Edition" only contains the base game and the Soundtrack, but not the "Deluxe Pack DLC". That said, I believe that Deluxe Edition most likely _does_ include the Deluxe Pack DLC, and that the product description is simply wrong. It wouldn't be the first time that this happens to a Bethesda title. Under that assumption, the pricing would make sense.
There is a slight difference.
The Deluxe Edition has the "Original Soundtrack SELECTIONS", which is a selection of 12 songs. It is not purchasable alone. In fact, if you go to the Deluxe edition, you'll see that this version of the soundtrack is not available to be purchased alone.
The OST is a separate product with a different selection of songs.
Here's the part I can't figure out: Are the songs on the "OST selections" version the same as their corresponding counterparts on the "OST"? The names align -- more or less -- but the timecodes are slightly different. I can't say for sure if they are the same or if they are totally different.
He's right. It only comes with the soundtrack and not the deluxe content pack. I refunded the deluxe edition cause it didn't come with the actual content dlc.

- Standard Edition: Base game
- Deluxe Edition: Base game + an unlisted "Deluxe" DLC + "Selection" OST
- Deluxe Pack: it contains the entitlement to the Deluxe Pack in your account (shown as IN LIBRARY) + the unlisted "Deluxe" DLC
- Full OST
The annoying thing is while the Deluxe Edition does contain what it states, my OCD self cannot get over not having the Deluxe Pack marked as IN LIBRARY. Why did they feel the need to overcomplicate things by separating the "Deluxe" DLC and the "Deluxe Pack". Are try trying to trick people into buying something they have already owned?
