Regardless of if it cracked or not,no developers/publishers should keep Denuvo in their games for more than 6-12 months If their purpose was to protect the initial sales,after that,let it be gone

They should just remove Denuvo or any kind of DRM and launch a GOG version after 6-12 months regardless of the cracking scene

The pirate version is the better version, you don't need internet to launch it,you can active it as many time as you want

But the ultimate version will be the GOG version,with all the patches and no 3rd party DRM

You should read my reply again
With the pirated version you can play it without the internet,and you can active the game on as many pc as you want,no one can control what you can do with it
The legal version on the other hand,have you on a short leash,the leash here is Denuvo which should be remove and should never be there in first place
