Because they probably are, find a person on Steam, befriend them and play that way, with recently added crossplay you'll have a terrible time 99% of the time. I played back on release and there was no issues whatsoever, apart from tiny delay, which is to be expected on P2P, host(Colt) always has the advantage.

I have tried 2 rounds, it was pure lagfest.
WTF is this pvp. Takes me 20 seconds to move a couple meters, rubberbanding like nuts.
