Op just don't want to send all info about his everyday life to Microsoft - from typing to apps usage. He isn't naive, just want to decrease qty of bigtech abuse ) But this means stop playing. My advice is to have additional updated OS just for gaming. But games nowadays are collecting almost everything about playing process.
The fact that you dont own the game anymore means this thread is moot. As a secondary piece of advice, pls downgrade to Windows 7. That way you will never have to update your OS even if you want to cos there arent any.
You're right. I dont own the game and im not planning to get it or play it even if it becomes available on my windows version.
