actually, many games removed Denuvo after release (much later though).

Bethesda eventually removed it from Prey.
I think it is to try and stop piracy in the first months of release, where a game will sell the most units at full price in its lifetime. After that, I don't think Bethesda will be bothered with it and it may get removed eventually. But that said Deathloop has online PVP, does this have anti cheat as well? I cant see Bethesda leaving Deathloop completely vulnerable to cheaters.
I mean I don't understand why some people hate Denuvo.
Not every AAA IP is popular enough to release a game without some kind of piracy protection. Games like Cyberpunk with its 8 million preorders get away with it, but games like this are not as popular, so I can see it from the developers side.
