Sound cutting out
Anybody having an issue with some audio channels cutting out for about 5 seconds? Like it's not all audio but mostly dialogue and music and some ambient sounds.

If yes, how 2 fix?

I'm also having this issue. Not sure how to fix it though.

For me its the background music that keeps cutting out

ok, I have resolved this issue for myself. It was somehow being caused by using a nintendo switch pro controller, switched off bluetooth and better CEMU and used an xbox controller, all working fine.

same problem here. playing with mouse and keyboard
So, I fixed this for myself by lowering the settings. I was previously playing on Very High (on a 3080 at 1440p) and lowering it to High solved this issue. Perhaps it's a memory thing and when it struggles the first thing to drop is the sound? I have no idea but it did work.

Attempted this fix, also on PC, but no dice

Also having this. I was able to figure out when entering that first "key code" any time I would move in the UI, the sound effect of that movement would cut out dialogue that was happening. Then the door opening cut out the music. Weird stuff! Basically makes it uplayable!

I'm having the same issue, I think it's somehow connected to dualsense as I don't have the issue if I don't connect the dualsense with a cable. But if I don't connect the dualsense with a cable it doesn't recognze it

I don't have a PS5 controller so this isn't it.

I was having serious audio dropout problems for a few minutes. Read this and thought "oh yeah, I have a few virtual machines I can shut down to free up some resources". Came back to the game when they were all closed, and audio was smooth as butter. Thanks for the suggestion!

Close some programs if you have this issue, it worked great for me.
