Pre-order/ deluxe edition items not showing up?

I can't find the bonus items or skins anywhere, must I reach a point in the game before I can use them? Without spoiling anything I'm up-to a point where I chose what to do

Why would that be an issue? Denuvo is anti-piracy not anti-cheat or anything as far as i can tell this has no anti cheat.... which may be an issue later in the life cycle

Took me a long time, but I finally played as Julianna and realize now that's why ad for deluxe shows her holding the pistol - she has it, but not Colt.
