Game still freezes and restart computer
I’m in complex now and must turn on the generators. Patches didn't work. Any idea? Please help. I7 9700k, RTX 3080, 32GB RAM, 1440p.

Power Supply Seasonic GX 850W Gold, I7 9700k 4,9 GHZ. I've never had a such problems with Cyberpunk 2077, AC Vallhalla, RDR 2, Horizion Zero Down. Only this game.

I have also played all of the above and never had a crash in any of those, not even in Cypberpunk (which is not so hot in quite a few areas. but crash it did not)

The game has technical problems from the very beginning. Graphically it's not a killer. It is far from RDR2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Metro Exodus or Cyberpunk 2077. Despite the 20 hours played, the game was able to freezing time to time or crash to the desktop, so I had to repeat the stage from the beginning. It seems to me that with such problems, the developers should implement auto save every now and then during the game on PC. Repeating the same stage multiple times for crashes is extremely frustrating. Once the game crashed while entering a code when exiting channels. MASSACRE. After the last patch, the game freezes for a few seconds and then the computer restarts. I'm stuck in the Complex location where I have to turn on two generators. Probably 10 times I tried to go through this stage, but each time after a dozen or so minutes the game freezes and the computer restarts. For now, I'm giving up and waiting for the next patch. It's a pity, because the game is addictive, has an original, extraordinary gameplay, an interesting plot, but at the moment it is absolutely unplayable.

This is an issue with your RTX 30 series card. I have a 3070 TI and it does it with other games, but not Deathloop. Black screen, fans at 100 percent, computer restart... its a very random and specific issue. This is the worst time to buy a GFX card.

Edit: I also noticed you have an i7 9000 series processor. These ones don't play nice with RTX 30 series cards, reportedly.

Bruh, clearly its not the cards, its the game, It's crashing for a lot of people with all kinds of cards, fans never go 100% when it crashes, the game process just hangs and take computer hostage. All games I played nothing like that happened, far more heavier than this one. They seriously need to fix all these issues. I would redund the game inthis state but its being shared with me so.

Yeah did you contact support? Maybe you need to run CCleaner. Do a disk defrag and report back.

Have you tried disabling the ray tracing setting?
I had the same problem, but it was fixed by disabling the setting.
