Tutorial messages getting stuck on screen (Am I the only one?)

Am I the only one who's constantly dealing with tutorial messages that refuse to go away, like in the image linked below?

This has happened to me on at least four separate occasions now, and in addition to being distracting it also prevents FUTURE tutorial messages from showing up, which means you may miss out on important cues/information.

As an aside, I just want to express how incredibly disappointed I am with the current state of this game. From the numerous bugs and poor UI decisions to inexcusable performance issues (how can such an average-looking game perform so poorly?), I think it's a shame that such a cool and creative game has been pushed out in such a sorry state. Coming from Prey, I'm just bewildered at how poor the experience has been in comparison.

Just happened to me as well. Hitting escape should close it, but it just opens menu. On the plus side, the menu gives you a clear look of where you are, bad side is your basically stopping and going, stopping and going. This is very annoying if you've done your objectives and trying to bee-line back to the safe-house. You can still finish the mission provided you don't get invaded or get killed on the way back.

I would've been fine if could just quit the game and load an auto-save. But because of the whole dark-souls like schtick that they're going for, doing so resets your whole progress, which can really make you wish you can refund the game. Doesn't help that random crashes occur.

This truly is a Bethesda published title "We'll fix it later"

Just happened to me, I think it was caused by alt tabbing and something else, It sucks so much

Same thing happened to me when alt-tabbing away from the game. I got stuck on a tutorial for an 'item' that encompassed the screen. As such I had no way to continue and had to quit my session without saving. RIP.
