Don't bother playing as Juliana

The netcode is utterly atrocious on pc.
Apparently the invasion mode works great on ps5, but not so much on pc.

lagging, rubberbanding, totally unplayable unless you get lucky.
and so far i'm 0/5 on luck.

From doing a quick search on reddit, its definitely a widespread pc problem.
So, if you want to play as Juliana? Drop the steam version and play it on ps5.

I've invaded 8 times so far and every single one of them except for 2 have been completely unplayable with the worst rubberbanding I've ever experienced in a game. It seems like there is no consideration given to connection quality when matchmaking at all. Only time the PVP is smooth is when people invade me, because I have gigabit fiber. Even then, I've seen invaders rubberband a little bit, as if they're from overseas and have 150+ ping. The netcode in this game is atrocious.

Ping wasn’t that bad in the one game i could find as juliana, its just soo hard to find a game though.

It’s been hit or miss for me. I’ve had smooth as butter experiences and I’ve had really rubber bandy ones. I assume it’s a crappy connection by the other player.

I like to play my full loops, and see how an invading player tries to stop my blitz. I finish the morning and afternoon loops is about 2 minutes each. If they don't defend the Visionaries, or don't catch me when I'm at the antenna, I'll make it out easily.

The evening run though... if they stay at the party, ♥♥♥♥ gets hard. Which is fun. lol

its been fine on my end. I love dropping in for a quick 1v1 dual. Haven't had any issues. Got laid out at first though until I got some upgrades.

the juliana plays don't have much of a chance though
forget fighting you
they have to fight the lag
thats the current issue

Seems to work fine in NZ. I'm 53 games in with nearly all that just over the last two days. Had some issues but very rare and mostly minor.

Pretty sure I'm joining people with 56k internet whenever I try invading, who are running AOL dialup on Wi-Fi leeching it from their neighbor through 2 brick walls. Very painful to play, just tried to invade for the achievement and some unlocks but ugh, just not fun. Wouldn't mind losing if it was fair, but I can barely step forward in most games without teleporting backwards constantly and when I do join a solid connection game I get destroyed since I don't know the maps yet but at least it's more enjoyable lol.
